Katie was awarded Music and Culture Icon for Scotland in 2004 and became winner of the UK Songwriting Contest in 2007. Her highly acclaimed musical interpretations and compositions culminated in her 6th CD, Imaginary Friend, released in 2008.

As a leading light in Scottish and International music, Katie has played for many other well known figures such as Sir Sean Connery, Sir Jackie Stewart, Sir Richard Branson, Mr Stanley Ho, Jeb Bush, and former Mayor of New York Rudolf Giuliani.

Katie is also a talented Master of Ceremonies, having hosted many large scale international events, including for the Prince of Wales Princes' Trust, The Marie Curie Cancer Foundation and The British Embassies worldwide. Her MA in Modern and Medieval Languages from Oxford University enables her to not only present in English but also in Mandarin, Spanish, German and French.
